Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, an engineer and tool maker. She was also a employee in a manufacturing plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly and Patrick, are three of her siblings. Stone has a talent in the classroom as an infant, started her second-grade education at age five. In 1975, she graduated from Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). Also, Stone competed and won in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone as well as her aunt relocated to New Jersey to New Jersey to start a modelling career in 1977. They signed up for The Ford Modeling Agency after a short period of time. The next step was Europe which she was to spend a year residing with her aunt in Milan, Paris and other cities. Stone was disillusioned by the fashion business in Europe, and chose to focus on acting instead. In her 20s, she starred in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories," which received mixed reviews.
