Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in the One Tree Hill series' final three years. The first three albums she released as a country artist included in episodes of the series helping her debut album of the same name to make it into the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached number ten. She finished out the decade with appearances on Dancing with the Stars and in several TV movies alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices was released. Growing up within Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music and would eventually make a record career, but she began her professional life acting as an actress, appearing on screen in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead as she was in her teen years. After appearing as a guest on All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role on NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer then appeared on 90210 as Portia Randson in 2008 through 2009 and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. Then in 2009, she was part of One Tree Hill's ensemble in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the role until midway through the final season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer Kramer was a star of One Tree Hill from 2009 through in 2012. The actress had signed an agreement in 2009 with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired tune I Won't give Up during the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. In 2012, it came out as a single on Jana Kramer - her first album. The song made it to in the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. In the following years Kramer concentrated her acting career around music and acted in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016, which appealed directly to her fans. Kramer's second album Thirty One came out through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith helped the album to get even better reviews which saw it reach the top three place on the Billboard 200. The album was released after a period of two months on the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. She also scored an adult contemporary smash with the song Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
