Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American performer and actress, started with a series of rap songs that dealt with issues of race and sexuality. The career of the singer and actress grew to Hollywood when she dropped an album of raps. Nora Lum was born to Chinese Korean immigrants living in Forest Hills Queens. Her first exposure to music was via the trumpet. Apart from classical music and jazz, she began studying hip-hop in her teens. Concentrating on school she majored in journalism, and women's studies, and was studying Mandarin in Beijing for a stint. After graduating, she began to focus on music. Following her viral success via the Internet the song My Vag was a reaction to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick. It eventually made its way onto her debut album Yellow Ranger. The other viral hit songs included Queef track and the eye-catching NYC Bitchecity tour. This song is directly linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. After a successful career as a performer and songwriter, she took on the role of an actor. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors to Storks. The actress made headlines in 2018 with a few notable films like Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. It was in June that she released her first film In Fina We Trust.
